Wild Child


Title: Soul Child

I absolutely love the idea of painting a colorful Afro. I was inspired by the beautiful texture of curly and voluminous hair, and I thought that utilizing the impasto technique would be perfect to portray this. What I would love to do in addition is collage authentic Mozambican Capulana fabric as my Soul Child's shirt. If only I could get my hands on a Capulana, then my art would be complete.
